  1. When do I get my check?
    Once confirmed by the merchant each month, we will cut you a Check for purchases posted during the previous month based on the schedule shown below. But if your cash back total is $5.00 or less, we'll carry over your money to the next check.

    Accrued cash back for Qualifying Purchases will be dispersed to members via postal mail to the address on file in your member profile. If there is no address on file, we will retain such amounts until we receive a mailing address from you. Checks are issued on the first of each calendar month for all Qualifying Purchases made 90 days prior to such disbursement date if your accrued amounts are five dollars or greater.

  2. How do I make sure I'm saving as much as possible?
    We make it easy. Just click on the Shopping link from within the membership website. You can look for Stores or Products by using our search box. You can browse the Category you are looking for, or view All Store. Click on the store and you'll be getting Cash Back automatically.

  3. Where do my discounts go?
    Your check will be mailed directly to you at your Member Profile address! If no address is present in your account profile, we will be unable to send you a check and your cash back will be rolled over into the next month's balance. Please be sure to update your profile to include your current mailing address.

  4. Do all purchases I make at any Cash Back Network merchant get credited by The Cash Back Network?
    Yes. Purchases get credited in one of two ways. You can shop either through shopperdiscountsandrewards.com or directly through the merchant sites after you have downloaded our Savings Key™ toolbar and logged in for that day at shopperdiscountsandrewards.com. The Savings Key™ toolbar will credit your Cash Back automatically, by tracking your savings as you shop directly through the merchant site. Please note, the old desktop-version of Savings Key™ continues to function in for our existing members. However, we encourage you to learn more about the new Savings Key™ toolbar, click here.

  5. Can I use special offers and coupons and still earn Cash Back discounts?
    We work with our merchants to provide you with specials and coupons that you can combine with The Cash Back Network discounts for maximum savings. We try very hard to provide you with an extensive list of merchant specials and coupons. Please refer to the specials page or the store search for these offers. If you choose to use coupons and specials that are not listed on The Cash Back Network site, we cannot guarantee that you will be eligible to receive a Cash Back discount on your purchases. It is advisable to check with each merchant to see if they allow such combination for specials and coupons not listed on The Cash Back Network site.

    Furthermore, please be advised that coupons and special offers listed on The Cash Back Network site are subject to change. Restrictions may apply. The Cash Back Network tries to present the most accurate offers but cannot make guarantees due to the time-sensitive nature of these promotions.

  6. Can I use online currencies while shopping through The Cash Back Network?
    No, you must use a valid credit or debit card when shopping.

  7. Do all purchases qualify for a discount?
    Most items you purchase through The Cash Back Network qualifies for cash back. We cannot, however, give cash back for taxes, shipping, or any portion of a purchase that is paid for with coupons, gift certificates or a store credit. Any purchase of products and services in which the transaction is substantially completed by telephone does not qualify for a discount. In addition, certain items are excluded.   8. How do I know you are tracking my purchases while I am shopping?
    By starting at Shopper Discounts & Rewards your purchases will automatically be tracked OR if you have downloaded the Savings Key™ toolbar (or older Savings Key™ desktop application) your purchases will be tracked through the software and you will be notified by the status of the toolbar. In the case of the old Savings Key™ application, when you first get to your shopping destination you will see a confirmation pop-up.

  10. What Browser Settings do I need to use for The Cash Back Network?
    For Internet Explorer 6

    On the Tools dropdown menu, select Internet Options. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Privacy Tab. Move the Security slider to the Medium level or lower and click OK.

    For Firefox 1

    On the Tools menu, select Options. On the Category menu, select Privacy. On the Privacy menu select Cookies. Click the box next to "Allow sites to set Cookies" and "Keep Cookies until they expire." Click OK.

    For Netscape 7

    On the Tools menu, select Options. On the Category menu, select Privacy. On the Privacy menu select Cookies. Click the box next to "Keep Cookies unitl they expire." Click OK.

    For AOL 7

    Select My AOL. Choose WWW, and click the Security tab. Go to Custom Level, find "Cookie," and click "Enable." Click OK.

  11. How can I access my transaction history?
    If you click on "History" in the top navigation bar you may view your summary transactions and cash back earned.

  12. How can I update my account information?
    Click on "Customer Care" in the top navigation bar. Then click on the "Member Profile" link featured on the Customer Care page. This page will allow you to view your current profile and make any necessary changes to your name, address, and where we send your check.

  13. How do I search for a store or product?
    Find the search box below the top navigation bar in The Cash Back Network area of Buyer Assurance. Type the name of the store or product you're looking for, and click the "go" button.

  14. What if The Cash Back Network doesn't offer the store I want?
    We are working daily to ensure our member base will enjoy a variety of goods and services from quality merchants. If we do not have your favorite store, or if you would like to recommend a store to us, simply email our customer care department at: customerservice@thecashbacknetwork.com We will do everything possible to add your merchant.

  15. Do gift certificates qualify for a discount?
    No. The Cash Back Network can't give discounts for the portion of a purchase that is made with gift cards or certificates. Nor can we give discounts for the purchase of gift certificates or gift cards, with the exception of those purchased at Spa Wish.

  16. What if I want to return or cancel an order?
    Returns are subject to the return policy of the merchant from whom you purchased. If you return or cancel an item, we have to reverse any cash back from that sale.

    Returns (also deemed as exchanges) make cash back ineligible. In the process of an exchange, the merchant cancels the old order and replaces it with a new one. When doing this, The Cash Back Network commission gets reversed and a new commission is not established because the merchant has created the new order (thus meaning the order was not completed through The Cash Back Network - but placed through the merchant directly). Because of this, the merchant will not pay us the commission, which means we have no cash back to pass on to you.

    To avoid losing the discount - In future transactions, please make sure all returns are final and that it is not an exchange. Have the merchant refund your credit card, and then re-place the order through us to receive the cash back.

  17. Are my transactions secure when going through The Cash Back Network?
    Always. When you check out at any of our merchants, you are on the safest possible connection, a Secure Socket Layer (SSL).

  18. What are "cookies" and how do I enable them?
    Cookies are simply text files that allow a site to recognize you when you return. This means you don't have to log-in again and again. Cookies used by The Cash Back Network and our network of merchants are completely safe and they are enabled by default with most browsers.

  19. What is the Buyer Assurance Savings Key™?
    The Savings Key™ toolbar is software in the form of a light toolbar that enables you to shop directly through the merchants' sites once you have activated the tool. To learn more about the new Savings Key™ toolbar, click here.

    In the case of the old Savings Key™ application, it is a small tracking tool that runs autonomously on your computer. It simply notices when you land on selected sites and sends a message notifying you of participating merchants. The Savings Key™ application ensures that your purchases from all participating merchants earn you cash back.

  20. How do I uninstall the Savings Key™ toolbar or the old Savings Key™ application?
    You can uninstall Savings Key toolbar and application (same process) by:

    1. Close all your browsers.
    2. Open Control Panel, and click Add/Remove Programs.
    3. Click the "Change/Remove" button next to Savings Key. When it asks "Are you sure you wish to uninstall?" click "Yes".
    4. The uninstaller will completely remove The Buyer Assurance Savings Key toolbar or application from your machine.
